American Technology Solutions International’s Jonathan Leggett coordinated with the Florida Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) at Pinellas County Economic Development (PCED) to plan and execute an event to educate the local business community about the Navy’s research and development programs. The event was hosted at the Maritime and Defense Hub in Saint Petersburg’s Innovative District. The purpose of the event was a meet and greet for Bob Smith, the Director of the Navy’s SBIR/STTR and Special Programs. Over 25 businesses participated in this event to learn about the Navy’s programs. As the director of these programs, Mr. Smith manages numerous activities designed to assist small businesses in getting their technologies fully developed, tested, and inserted into products and services used by our Naval warfighters.
